إبراهيم فرغلي هو كاتب مصري من مواليد عام 1967 في مدينة المنصورة في قلب الدلتا المصرية، وهو حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال من جامعة المنصورة، نشأ في مدينة المنصورة ثم عاش فترة شبابه في سلطنة عُمان ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، بدأ حياته الأدبية كمحرر في مجلة روز اليوسف المصرية ثم مجلة نزوى العُمانية، ثم محرراً ثقافياً في جريدة الأهرام المصرية، ثم محرراً في مجلة العربي التي تصدر في الكويت.
