Easily one of the most recognisable pop singers from the '90s, thanks to his trademark style, the founder, front man and sole consistent member of Pulp, Jarvis Cocker, is deeply ingrained in the world of music. He has written for The Guardian and presented the BBC Radio 6 Music show, Jarvis Cocker's Sunday Service, for seven years. So much of his life relates to music, is influenced by it and, in turn, he is influenced by the music surrounding him at any given time.

After nearly dying of septic shock after an emergency caesarean section, Candice Brathwaite started speaking about changes needed in the healthcare system when it comes to the treatment of black women, who are five times more likely to die during childbirth than white women. This experience, amongst other things, led to her first book, I Am Not Your Baby Mother, which went on to be a Sunday Times best seller. Neurologist Ash Ranpura and Buddhist monk Gelong Thubten have recently collaborated with Ruby Wax - comedian, mental health advocate and best-selling author of Frazzled - to produce a new book called How to Be Human: The Manual. Cummins worked in the publishing industry for 10 years before becoming a full-time writer. Her first book, A Rip in Heaven, is a memoir about her two cousins being murdered and the attempted murder of her brother. Cummins used the book to deal with her grief and portrays the lives of the victims and their families. She went on to release two fictions novels. Her newest release is American Dirt, a novel which looks at the plight of migrants, as a mother and son desperately attempt to escape a cartel in Mexico by fleeing to the United States of America.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss his Echoes of the Fall trilogy is award-winning fantasy and sci-fi writer Adrian Tchaikovsky. He visited us on the release of the third and final book in the series, The Hyena and the Hawk. A prolific writer who has published over 16 novels, Tchaikovsky sets the bar high with his sheer imagination. In this interview, Adrian Tchaikovsky introduces us to the different tribes in this latest series, talks about how he goes about creating a world and explains how writing sci-fi and fantasy feels very different.
