Staying curious

Growing up, my Grandmother would say "The Best Sense is Bought Sense" and this meant that sometimes the only way we learn a lesson is if we bump our heads doing so: or 'buy' our sense. I created this podcast not only in memory of my Grandmother, but to facilitate open and thought provoking discussions on a variety of topics to help others maybe skip the part where they have to bump their heads to get through life.

Mudita, Wheel Publicaton No. 170, contains several short essays, one by the editor, Ven. Nyanaponika, and three by lay practitioners on one of the lesser known and too-little practiced sublime states of mind. Mudita, usually translated "sympathetic joy", was designated one of the brahma-viharas by the Buddha, one of the sublime, noble states of mind.
