In the western Deadlands, the Blight has risen. Something unknown yet terrible is transpiring there. Panicked, the gods of Elatra hurriedly sent a message to all High-Level Combat Class users: "Band together. Stop this threat. Or all will be lost." Rob and Riardin's Rangers have been put in the awkward position of needing to ally with the gods and the Dragon Queen in order to survive. It's an uneasy alliance that only grows more strained as time goes on. Mutual benefit is barely enough to keep them from turning on each other.

Skeeve is a magician’s apprentice (and a wanna-be thief) until an assassin’s bolt kills his master, Garkin. Along with Aahz, the green-scaled, purple-tongued demon and master magician summoned by Garkin, he sets out on a quest to get even. But all is not lost! God says he can reincarnate Touya into a world of fantasy, and as a bonus, he gets to bring his smartphone along with him! So begins Touya's adventure in a new, anachronistic pseudo-medieval world. Friends! Laughs! Tears! Inexplicable Deus ex Machina!

After curing the Corruption plague in Fiend territory, Rob, Riardin's Rangers, and the Deserters have settled into their new home. It's given them the stability they've been striving for ever since being forced to flee The Village so many months ago. Unfortunately, their well-earned rest is cut short when a Dwarven messenger arrives, begging for assistance. The Blight has returned. And without Rob's help, Dwarven territory will fall.
