So what is the true meaning of love?

Is this something you have ever really considered or is love just love to you?

Of course it is "just love",  why would it be anything different?

The difference is many people don't love themselves. Especially people from there LBGTQI+ community who have some of the largest statistics relating to addiction, suicide and hatred amongst the heterosexual community.

It's the question I posed to you at the beginning of my journey discovering I'm intersex.

Discovering ones sexuality or how you choose to identify requires love. Otherwise it's a game of avoidance involving  drugs, alcohol and all other forms of addiction and self-destruction.

I should know, that's been my whole adult life, until recently.

Sex is so much more than physical. It's about connection to soul and to that of another's soul, if we so choose. If we do choose, we have the right to decide, well unfortunately that's not the case in all countries, it is however, here in Australia where I live.

If one thing the last 18 months has taught us all is change is necessary.

     How have you changed?

In this, the final season of Titanium the intersex podcast and the final episode "Leaving Psychosis" there has been a big delay.

Life is all about timing, and the time wasn't right.

You don't need to know why.

You just need to answer the question for yourself "What is the true meaning of love?" as you listen to "Leaving Psychosis".

Special thanks to my Executive Producer, Jared Aviet for his tireless effort working with me, no easy feat, especially during the initial stages of this podcast to advance his already amazing knowledgevinto podcasting, a world we have both got to know better, with Jared's guidance and strategic direction. • Season 2 Episode 2: Living with Psychosis
    May 2 2021

    Living with Psychosis.

It’s been ages since the previous episode. I could say I’m sorry, but I’m not.

Listening to the final cut, I wasn’t ready for you to hear. It’s so personal and for the first time in a long time, I lost my confidence.

I listened to myself reading a journal no-one was ever supposed to hear, now about to be on a podcast.

So, here you go, this is me, Mike Carroll “Living with Psychosis” the second episode in series two.

It’s about being scared, anxious, depressed, that I now understand was me feeling I wasn’t enough, I felt I needed to be more.

I am enough and so are you, we always have been.

Living with psychosis has given me insights into the human condition, that education could never give me.

I invite your feedback and will get episode 3 to you ASAP.

    Love always, Mike

  • Season 2, Epiode 1:Entering Psychosis
    Mar 18 2021

Living with psychosis was the scariest and most spiritual of my life. It was also the loneliest of times. Lonely, because drugs are designed to be consumed with people, not alone, especially at the consumption level I was snorting up my nose.

Psychosis brought my deepest fears in life, to life, but only in my mind.  Slithering massive snakes; paranoia of being watched - on social media, in the street, at the supermarket; Sex parties at my home, in hidden sex rooms I couldn’t find and suspicious of any friend that had been brave enough to spend time with me.

Psychosis confused my mind so much that I lost my mind. I tried to do things and would have rooms of half-finished tasks, none completed. My mind wouldn’t allow me to focus on anything for any period of time, instead creating panic and anxiety for other things that had to be completed, among other things. At the longest without sleep, four days not seven-ten was the difference in me being able to return my mind to its former self.

This is the time that  anti-psychotic medication was necessary. I was prescribed  anti-psychotic medication that skyrocketed my weight to 144kg, currently 109kg. It turned me from an amphetamine high junkie to a month long bed ridden sleep deprived being that transformed into a calm mind, enabling repair to my mind.  I turned panic and anxiety into tiredness and sleepiness, the medication assisting greatly. I then stayed on anti-psychs for two years, then stopped taking them (please don’t stop taking psychotic medication abruptly and consult your doctor prior). I got sick of feeling like a robot without emotion.

This podcast is disturbing. On the other end of disturbing is attraction. I hope the attraction of your mind is active and prepared enough to step in to the world of psychosis.

If not, you should leave now.
