Eric Adams tried again to be cool by …. burning four TONS of weed? We had to have our laughs about that to start off the episode. The arrest of Telegram’s Pavel Durov is another big story this week, leaving us asking what does that mean for social media and privacy online?

We watch and break down a few clips from the recent news- first The Poor People’s Army, hearing from some of the less covered movements protesting at the DNC. Next, Kamala on the border wall and the democratic-republican contradictions there. Trump is back brawling into the news with his entourage in Arlington National Cemetery so we had to run that down as well. We end the episode by getting into a nuanced conversation about movement-building and our respective thoughts on the centralization of power within popular movements. Another great discussion!
