    Social media has become an integral part of our daily lives, allowing us to connect with friends, family, and strangers from all over the world. With this increased level of connectivity also comes the need for extreme validation.

    Validation on social media refers to the need for recognition, approval, and acceptance from others on the platform. It is common for users to post photos, videos, and thoughts in hopes of receiving likes, comments, and shares. While this can be a positive experience, it can also lead to negative consequences. 

    Validation from others extends to leadership too. There are leaders looking for love and credit from their teams and those around them. To be a good leader though you need to flip that affirmation. Instead of searching for what you can do to get validation, allow it to come from your team. Let their success be your success.
