I’m Lori Massicot, The Midlife Sobriety Coach, and I’m here to support you every step of the way! I started drinking at 14 and made the tough decision to quit at 45. I understand the challenges you face in early sobriety and in maintaining an alcohol-free lifestyle. In 2018, I created the To 50 and Beyond podcast to raise awareness about the option of living alcohol-free later in life. My mission is to provide practical solutions, along with plenty of love and support, so you never feel alone. This podcast is the resource I wished I had when I decided to stop drinking on August 11, 2013. With over 300 episodes and half a million downloads, To 50 and Beyond has touched the hearts of women worldwide who are discovering that they don’t have to keep drinking. What a relief!     I got behind the mic this week to reflect openly on alcohol to encourage you to leave it in 2024 if you're tired of what alcohol brings into your life.

    As we wrap up 2024, I want you to know that if you're living alcohol-free, I'm celebrating with you.

    If you're working on freeing yourself from alcohol, I'm inspired by your perseverance.

    And if you're at that crossroads wondering which way to turn, just know that questioning your relationship with alcohol is the first step to change.

    You can do this. I'm with you.

    I share what I was waiting for: a “normal” relationship with alcohol. When I realized this didn’t exist, I chose to stop drinking.
