• Ep. 43 - Where Is Your Comfort?
    Oct 3 2024

Hey friends! Today, we're chatting about embracing the uncertainties of life together, recognizing what gratitude really gives us, and reminding ourselves of the resilience we all carry.

    I invite you to consider:

    - What parts of your life give you comfort?
    - Where in your day-to-day are the moments that you would really miss if you could no longer have access to or experience those 'little' things (even if momentarily)?
    - How does acknowledging all sides of life and it's uncertainties allow you to move forward in showing compassion & care to yourself and your fellow human?

  • Ep. 42 - Practicing Seeing The Good First
    Sep 26 2024

Plot twist: The person driving super slow ahead of you is an older man bringing his wife flowers and his #1 focus is not toppling the vase over...(& other random tidbits on choosing to see the best in people first).

Introspective questions to consider from this episode✨

    1. How often do I consciously choose to assume the best in others, and how does that perspective shape my interactions and relationships with them?

    2. In what ways do I allow pre-planned negative thoughts or imagined scenarios to influence my mood or decisions, and how might embracing optimism change that experience?

    3. How can I practice cultivating a mindset that sees challenges as opportunities for growth and connection, rather than obstacles or setbacks?

  • Ep. 41 - How Comfy Are You With Impermanence?
    Sep 12 2024

"The question is not how we can change ourselves and our situation, but instead, how can we accept that certain things are just impermanent?"

A song that inspired this episode: Golden Hour by Casey Kalmenson

If you enjoyed this episode, here are a few introspective prompts for you to consider:

    1. How do I respond when things I once believed to be stable or permanent in my life begin to change?

    2. In what areas of my life am I holding onto expectations of permanence, and how might this affect my sense of contentment or peace?

    3. Do I view the idea of growth as a spiral rather than a linear path? How am I expecting myself to be linear in ways that aren't feasible?

    4. What patterns or situations keep resurfacing in my life, and how has my understanding or reaction to them evolved over time?

    5. How can I cultivate a mindset that embraces impermanence, while still finding joy and contentment in the present moment?

As always, I'm in this journey with you.

  • Ep. 40 - Your Energy Is The Most Expensive Thing You Own...Spend It Wisely
    Aug 22 2024

A short but sweet reminder for us this week. Your time, your thoughts and your commitments are where you put your energy...and your energy is the most expensive thing you own.

After listening to this episode, consider:

    • Where am I placing my energy that might be draining my resources?
    • Am I spending my energy with people and in situations that move my greater mission, purpose, or life forward?
    • What in my life would need to shift in order for me to feel more aligned with where I'm placing my efforts?

As always, I'd love to hear from you! DM me your thoughts at @kristine.axe or send me an email at kristine@kristineaxe.com.

  • Ep. 39 - Information Overload (And What To Do About It)
    Aug 15 2024

Timestamp: To skip my introductory rambles, head to the 5:00 mark. Xx

I was an over-stimulated girly last week, which brought me 2 opposite things at once - - disappointment that I wasn't able to get done what I 'thought I should' (#relatable?) and, a TON of inspiration for today's episode on information & sensory overload.

Take a walk with me on this one, will ya? Let your brain explore your baseline, and let's make the harder moments of life a little bit easier together.

Which of these comes up most for you? Let me know by sending me a DM or email and we'll dive in deeper on a future episode.

We aren't able to stop the tougher moments of life, but we are able to take control of our habits to help ourselves when they happen.

  • Ep. 37 - "I Think You Just Called Me An A$$hole?"
    Jul 25 2024

Have a few minutes for a personal story? Because today, it's like we're chatting over coffee. This episode is based in an experience I had with a stranger recently and a moment of appreciation for my own personal growth work in standing up for myself and my integrity.

Have any thoughts on why we feel we can be rude or over-react towards strangers? Let me know...I'd love your insights!

  • Ep. 36 - What Does It Mean To "Listen To Your Body?"
    Jul 18 2024

This last weekend, I had the opportunity to clarify what it means for me to 'listen to my body'. Maybe you relate to hearing that phrase, but not really understanding what it feels like...Or, maybe you're like me and decipher certain feelings & bodily sensations as set truths (i.e. when I have a quick heart rate, it means I'm anxious and fearful...)

In either case, I hope sharing my experience brings to light a few moments where opportunities may present themselves in listening to your body, and specifically, your heart.

Thank you for your support and coming along for the ride! 💫
