The Language Worker

By: Rita Prazeres Gonçalves
  • Summary

  • The Language Worker is the result of my deep gratitude to the world for continuing to allow me to work on language projects, teaching, mentoring, and reflecting on the phenomenon of language and what it means for humanity.

The most visible part of the project - the podcast - is another window into the world of language services and its key players - Translators, Project Managers, Talent Managers, Sales and Business Growth Specialists, Technology Experts, Content Creators, Founders of Small and Medium-sized Language Services Companies, Language Teachers, and all the professionals who are willing to share their experience, knowledge and strategies for navigating the waters of this ever-changing industry.

For me, it's also an opportunity to learn and share the knowledge I acquired over more than 20 years of doing what I love the most: working with language.
