Talking points include: we are really unpacking the mixed reviews for this show (spoiler alert! it's misogyny & racism!), in this house we stan a diverse writer's room queen: Leslye Headland, the antidote to a nearly bloated "Marvel cinematic universe" problem is bringing fresh eyes and concentrating on story, this may be the first episode where we have pretty diverging opinions about character deaths! wow!, forshadowing done right, too little characterization? too much characterization?, how to avoid having your characters become redshirts, the power of the bicep (please listen to Disney's audio description of that one scene in episode 6), & overall, a great show!

Talking points include: let’s be real, folks, this one had some issues, a good ensemble cast is a strong cast of characters, as always: Kill Your Darlings, is it Ahsoka or is it a beige wall?, Oops, all main characters, weak & confused villains, La Croix: Plot flavor, the pacing (what pacing), paying proper respect and homage to animation & the sophmorification of animation, the importance of letting your characters Do Bad Things & Have Conflict, female characters in Star Wars & the dudebros who hate them, the grave importance of having a writer’s room, One Man syndrome, theme as the grout of your character bricks of your plot wall, stop blaming women for bad writing (& start including them behind the scenes!).
