    Sanjeev and Peter lead this episode as they discuss thrombectomy and how it saved Peter’s life, having a stroke during the peak of the covid pandemic and partaking in stroke research. You’ll hear more from Andrew towards the end of the episode as he talks to Peter about his rehabilitation post stroke and how he was able to do it through the pandemic.

    On this weeks SR Times podcast, we speak to captain of England's cerebral palsy team, Matt Crossen.


    Matt suffered a stroke in 2013, after suffering an injury to the nose whilst playing for Northern League Division 1 side Marske United.


    The stroke would leave Matt with permanent paralysis in his left side and he's lived with cerebral palsy ever since.


    However, after picking himself back up and teaching himself coordination skills needed for football all over again, Matt got back to playing and was soon picked up by England's cerebral palsy team, who he now captains.
