The worldbuilding aspect is well-balanced, providing enough information to understand the setting without overwhelming the plot. Although some parts of the plot may be predictable, it doesn't diminish the impact of the revealing moments.

"I Was Just A Radioman" ARM H.P. Lawrence The Memoirs of a WW2, Pearl Harbor Survivor by Pamela Ackerson

Obviously this book is set during World War 2 and tells of one mans experience of being at Pearl Harbor on that fateful day, as well as the rest of his time during the war.

I found it to be a mostly enjoyable read, as a historical memoir.
