  • Pathway for the Evolution of Work | Stelio Verzera
    May 18 2021

What has work been? What is work now? What could work look like?

Control to Integration | Telling to Learning | Competing to Cooperating | Silos to Coalescence

Every time I talk to Stelio Verzera - I feel energized, I learn something new, my mid opens to new ideas and challenges.

Stelio’s view of the world of work is expressed differently. He is not alone in looking at things from a systemic, ecoistic point of view, but the way he is bringing this into the world is unique.

This conversation takes us to many places – from anti-fragility to surfing emergence and rediscovering ourselves. We look at technology, polycentricity and sense-making. We talk about the future, how the world of work will move from control to integration, from telling to learning, from competing to cooperating, from silos to coalescence across boundaries.

Stelio Verzera is an Evolution Coach and the Co-Founder of Cocoon Pro.

  • Reskilling at Scale | Jamie Albers & David Timis
    May 18 2021

I know a lot of people who had to #reskill and carve out new career pathways for themselves.

It is very difficult! When the education is there, employers are not. When the employers are willing, governmental support is missing. We have tons of amazing free online education. But it is not recognized by businesses. There are incredible people who took the leap, learned something totally new. They need work experience to get started, but an internship is only for “fresh” graduates. And while we are complaining about talent shortages, we are not really willing to employ someone who has so drastically changed their career. Let someone else try first…

    Today’s podcast is about #reskilling, #education and #meaningfulcareers.

My guests are two amazing people who are passionate about changing the world of work. They provide education, identify career pathways and support the transition of those who are experiencing major career shifts:

    ➔Jamie Albers, the co-founder of Mento (https://www.mento.co/about)

➔David Timis, the Global Communications Leader at Generation (https://www.generation.org/)

To get in touch with them:

    - Jamie: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jamiealbers/

    - David: https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidtimis/

    We will talk about:

➔ The impact this past one and a half year has had on the job market

➔ The harsh realities of career transitioning for the re-skilled

➔ Transforming education to allow for multiple and diverse pathways throughout our lives

➔ The 4Cs needed to succeed in the world of work

    ❤️Help spread education for a resilient future!❤️
