  • Summary

  • The no frills, no BS podcast that talks about the stuff that matters for the person that matters - YOU.

Welcome to Self-Worth 101, where we ditch the fluff and dive straight into the nitty-gritty of personal growth.

This isn't your typical self-help podcast; we're here to have raw, no-BS conversations about the stuff we’re often too afraid to share openly.

I'm your host Leanne Shaw, and every two weeks I'll be bringing you real talk from real people who've been through the trenches and come out the other side stronger and wiser.

We're not about sugar-coating or pretending everything's perfect. Instead, we're all about sharing our stories—the good, the bad, and the downright ugly—in the hopes that they'll resonate with you and help you along your own journey.

So if you're tired of shallow advice and ready for some real talk, then buckle up, because Self-Worth 101 is here to help you unleash your inner badass and live your most authentic life. Get ready to laugh, cry, and maybe even have a few lightbulb moments along the way.

This is where the real work begins, and we're thrilled to have you along for the ride.

    Let's do this!

  • Impostor Syndrome - NOT TODAY SATAN!!!!
    Jun 26 2024

I teach a lot of corporates the art of confident leadership and even more humans, the art of being themselves ... but back in the early days, I was too terrified to get in front of an audience because my impostor syndrome had me convinced that NO ONE would want to listen to a fat coach!

    Seriously!!

Traditional therapy was telling me I had to look back over my achievements and acknowledge how far I had come, which to me was all a big pile of wank, because IF I WAS ABLE TO DO THAT, I WOULDN'T HAVE IMPOSTOR SYNDROME!

    *eyeroll*

When self-doubt has you by the short and curlies, we put everything we achieve down to luck, or someone (or something) else making it possible. We never for a second believe that we are ready enough, qualified enough or good enough to own our space and let the world know that we're here!

Well, I have been able to do that in recent years, and it's all because I learned some things that gave me a whole new perspective on impostor syndrome, and today I'd like to share these things with you too.

So, without further ado, here is:

FIVE things you need to know about impostor syndrome, and TEN ways to f*ck it off!

  • How to Turn Stress into a Buffalo Chicken Pizza
    May 13 2024

Here's the trick I taught a client who asked for tools to manage her anxiety.

There is one particular phrase her clients use that instantly gets her hackles up, makes her go all tense and puts her into fight mode. She has tried to change the way she reacts, but always fails .... until now!

In fact, after I taught her this nifty little process, she couldn't even find the anxiety or stress afterwards. Even when she tried to. She just laughed!!

This is a staple to keep into your mindset toolbox because it'll work on most of the things that are currently doing your head in.
