    Here are the main drivers of the projected housing market of 2025:

    a "silver tsunami"

    What about rentals? Is there an oversupply of rentals in Colorado Springs? We should be seeing about 4,000 new rentals each year for the next 3 years. However over the next 4 years our city will need to build about 40,000 new homes and apartments, just to keep up with demand.

    Colorado Springs home prices reached their peak this June and July, with prices headed down slowly since then. Still, November 2024 prices are still about 8% higher than they were back in January. In short, Colorado Springs homes have still seen appreciation this year.
