  • Ep 114: What can you wear playing Golf?
    Apr 23 2022

Over drinks, some friends and I had a good debate over what is acceptable to wear when golfing. With Tyrell Hatton winning in a hoodie, Justin Thomas and many more embracing the golf jogger whilst the ladies game has always had a fashion forward sense of style. If we were talking about it, I thought it might be of value to put a little solo episode together taking in some of your opinions and get a synopsis of what is deemed suitable on the fairway in 2022.

  • Ep 113: Harry Colt’s Castlerock
    Apr 16 2022

This week we speak with Bert McKay, General Manger at Castlerock. It’s been one hundred and twenty one years since the formal inauguration of Castlerock. Harry Colt made it the links we play today, albeit more recently refreshed and updated by Martin Hawtree in 2017. A golf course played in the landscape not on the landscape, it is indeed a fine hallmark Colt design. Hollows, rises, banks, plateaus, pot bunkers and greens varying in sizes all contribute to an incredible links experience just twenty minutes from the Open hosting Royal Portrush.

  • Ep 111: World #1 Brendan Lawlor
    Apr 2 2022

“You can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed”, Napoleon Hill

Brendan Lawlor has not only been copiously successful in his rise to World #1 Disability Golfer, but every step of the way he has passionately spoken about how other disability golfers should be afforded the opportunity to play, compete and included in the game of golf.

That passion is bearing fruit, as the world’s outlook on inclusion is changing and looking to personalities, demographics and sport to put their support behind.

Brendan is a transparent, incredible young man and I urge you to get behind him as he strives to break even further ground in the sport of golf and in disability golf.
