  • Update on Job and What is up with Illinois?
    Dec 10 2023

Good afternoon, it’s me Bullett again. Here is an update on my job situation, if you don’t know what I am talking about, check out my last podcast. But anyway, here is the update and again I will not be saying names or where I work.

Now onto something else. Illinois has lost its damn mind. Check this out!

The Illinois Supreme Court has declared that the end of cash bail is constitutional.

Beginning on September 18, 2023, Illinois courts no longer use a cash bail system. Instead, they use a “pretrial release” system as allowed by the SAFE-T Act

As you all know, I was diagnosed with a disability. I have talked about it and if you haven’t listened to my podcast about that, check out my old podcasts. But anyway, I had to leave the Sheriff's Office and tried to get disability through the government, and that didn’t go well. I went to work in a private prison andd this is how it went.  So, got sent home because of my disability. Even though they hired me knowing I had a disability. Told them upfront I had a disability. Told them upfront what it was. After a week of class, they decided I had to have a note saying I am clear to work and that i can work without assistance. !TRIGGER WARNING! Hey everybody, how’s it going? First, I want to say Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate the holiday. Also, I want to say howdy to everyone and I want to talk about the subject of this podcast. This podcast is about a series of videos I have been seeing float around, and the videos, show people walking into stores and just walking out with items. Not buying them, or paying for them, just walking out. No one stops them, and if someone even tries, they get attacked. Why are we allowing this? Why is no one stepping up and doing anything about it, and why is this the new norm? What has caused this to be the new norm?

    https://www.npr.org/2023/09/27/1202157055/philadelphia-stores-looting-arrests https://www.businessinsider.com/stores-closing-in-2023-list

But anyway, I could go on forever about this, but I won’t. I am no expert on politics, and I am NO scholar on world events, I am just one man looking around and seeing what I see. These are my opinions alone and I may be wrong about a lot of this. But again, this is just what I see and what I think should be done. If I am wrong, I am sure someone will tell me, and I am sure some keyboard warrior will jump on it, but hey, I am entitled to my opinion, and that’s all this is. Yall be safe and we will talk again!

So, I have had the website Bullett n Wicked for 2 maybe 3 years now. it had the .info domain. I had it plastered all over Facebook. well, just about an hour ago I got my website removed from Instagram and Facebook, and Facebook has been going and scrubbing my Facebook page. they removed all my posts that had my website in them and removed them from Instagram. Their reasoning because my website went against the TOS comic book they have. My website promoted the clothing line I came up with and some of the other things such as good ranchers and bravevpn.

Oh I was hot! But my new website is https://bullettnwicked.com

  • Entering the workforce and Private Security
    Nov 17 2023

The training for a security guard is not very good. To get your level 2, you take an online course. Maybe a few hours of online training and a test. I let my level 2 lapse, so I had to take the class again. I signed up and then logged into the course. Went straight to the test, took the test, and passed with flying colors. Never touched the course. To be a level 3(armed) you take a 40hr class. Most of the class is just about Gun safety how to clean your gun and how to be a security officer. You barely touch on any laws concerning the use of your weapon and then when you go to the range, you pop off a few rounds, and then you pass. Thats it. Most security guards don't even actually know what the law is pertaining to them. So now you have armed security guards running around, with hardly any knowledge of the laws pertaining to them, dressed like cops. And you wonder why so many guards are treated badly by cops and why there is such a turnover of guards.

The licensing of security guards is done through the TX Dept of Public Safety(TX DPS). They have a lot on their plate, so the licensing of security guards is low on their agenda. In my opinion, they need to run the guards through the TX Commission of Law Enforcement(TCOLE). TCOLE is charged with the licensing of peace officers. That's all they do. However, I believe that they should be in charge of licensing security guards, as well I feel that the hiring process for a security guard should be the same as with peace officers. This would weed out the bad officers. Plus pay the security guards a wage comparable to peace officers. If you up the pay and the hiring process, you would get better quality officers. Trust me, if you make a guard fill out a PHS, most of them would go to work in a fast food place.

I believe that security guards should have to go through the same hiring and background investigations. The training should be better for any guard. The pay should be better. If security guards had better training, better pay, and had to go through the same hiring process, you would get better guards.

I STRONGLY BELIEVE SECURITY GUARDS SHOULD BE REGULATED BY TCOLE, JUST LIKE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.

But that is just my opinion. Yall be safe out there and talk to yall later!

  • SPANISH CASSEROLE
    Nov 10 2023

Hello, this is Latisha with SOUTHERN CELIACS.

Tonight we are going to discuss a QUICK, FILLING WEEK-NIGHT MEAL that is gluten-free. SPANISH CASSEROLE. This meal is easy to fix and is good in a variety of ways as outlined at the bottom of the directions. Plus, it is a one-pan meal, with easy clean up and the leftovers can be used in other meals throughout the week. So, without any further delays, let's get to cooking.

These are the ingredients you will need:

    1lb Hamburger meat

1cup of cooked gluten-free Spanish Rice

    2 15oz cans ranch-style beans drained

1 7oz can chopped green chiles

2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

    Directions:

OK, first let's begin with the basics, we will need to pre-cook 1 cup of GLUTEN-FREE RICE. I use Uncle Bens (not a sponsor). I have never had an issue with it, so to me having Celiacs, it has proven safe. Uncle Bens doesn't say it is gluten-free, but I have not had an issue with it, BUT do your research and use what you find safe. Once you have cooked the rice, set it to the side, and lets cook the rest of the meal. Scramble the hamburger meat in a skillet and brown it. Once browned, drain off the grease.

Place it back onto the burner and place it on low heat and add the cooked rice, the drained beans, and the green chiles.

(At this point, depending on your taste, you can add onions and jalapenos)

Once ingredients are added, stir to mix thoroughly. Once all items are mixed, cover with the cheese.

Place a lid on the skillet and let it sit on low heat till the cheese is melted. Once the cheese is melted your casserole is complete.

    Serving suggestions:

I serve it over corn chips with sour cream and queso cheese. But you can wrap in corn tortillas if you would like. You can top it with jalapenos, sour cream, queso cheese, and hot sauce or pico de gallo.

This meal is quick and easy and can be used in a variety of ways from "nachos" to rolling in corn tortillas and making burritos or just in a bowl by itself and eaten straight from a bowl. You can bake gluten-free cornbread and place it on cornbread as well.

This dish is very versatile and can be used in many ways and is gluten-free.
