If you’re only going to watch or listen to one episode of Neon Galactic, to get a sense of its mission and scope, this would be a good choice.

In this episode, my occasional co-host Chris Avis and I interview David Stuss, a lifelong experiencer and science instructor from Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia, who describes a lifetime of anomalous experiences and the journey he’s undertaken to understand and process those.

Starting from strange insights gained as a child, through poltergeist encounters, synchronicities, and a dramatic spiritual awakening, among other events, Stuss has been forced to recognize that the materialist paradigm we’ve all been conditioned to accept is of limited reach and therefore insufficient.

The universe is made of stranger stuff.

One event in particular breaks down his cognitive barriers — a seven-hour, robustly detailed and stunningly accurate reading from an astrologist, referred by a friend, who points to aspects of David’s life and personality that no one else could have known.

What kind of universe, David wonders, does it have to be for astrology to be true? How many other long-dismissed intellectual taboos might point to real things?

This session is a seismic event in David’s life. It leads him to abandon his education — he was then a philosophy major — and pushes him headfirst into a lifelong journey seeking answers.

David eventually returns to school as a student of the sciences. He becomes an educator himself, and his interest and passion for seeking truth never wanes.

In this interview, we discuss his life, his many exceptional experiences, and the conclusions he’s drawn about reality, spirit, the universe, and humanity’s place in the unfolding drama.

We also discuss how academic and other institutions need to better accommodate the broad range of human experiences, and accept that different problem sets require different approaches.

Enabling students and educators to switch between ontological lenses, and break free from dogmatic regimes that disallow other approaches, will build better thinkers.

We explore how UFOs and NHI may represent a key to unlocking the deeper connections that link all of these anomalous phenomena into a more cohesive whole, one that may well communicate a message humanity needs to hear.

On this episode, we interview Jon Dover and Stanley Milford Jr. about their work as Navajo Rangers and how it introduced them to a wide variety of strange and seemingly inexplicable events that hint at a world way more mysterious than we typically understand.

Stanley Milford Jr. recently published a book, “The Paranormal Ranger: A Navajo Investigator’s Search for the Unexplained,” which covers events that precede his partnership with Dover, and many that coincide with it, as well as investigations that occurred after their official law enforcement partnership ended.

In this discussion we talk about the book, their early paranormal experiences, and how they came to be in such a unique position. We also discuss the broad range of events they’ve encountered, and how these seemingly impossible phenomena hint at a reality that has much in common with an indigenous worldview.

From the beginning, their goal was to take witness reports seriously, and do whatever necessary to help folks process what they’ve seen, and feel heard. Both men have spent time contemplating the various types of phenomena they’ve investigated and have developed theories on how these things could occur. We discuss those theories, and what the weirdness may ultimately be telling us about human society and how it needs to change for the future.

On this episode of Neon Galactic, we interview author, artist, healer and philosopher Paul Levy, who over the past 20 years has written several books on the Wetiko — or Wendigo — entity, a psychic disease first identified by Native Americans that he believes has lulled humanity into this catastrophic moment.

Under many names, and in virtually every spiritual system, this entity has been known by humanity for millennia. Because, in part, it is humanity.

It’s also our enemy. And our shadow. It also doesn’t exist. Or does it? What actually does it mean to exist? Do any of us exist as individuals, or is that an illusion, a waking dream?

However we answer these questions, and even if we disbelieve, Wetiko may well be the cause of our ultimate extinction.

Levy and I explore evidence for the Wetiko presence, and how various thinkers and traditions throughout history have named this beast and worked to see it destroyed.

We examine the symptoms, the mode of spread, and the many ways Wetiko has shown itself to be a force in today’s world.

As Levy points out, Wetiko manifests in our shared delusion of separation, and feeds on our fear. Our anger, pride, and greed. Yet to fight the Wetiko is to become the Wetiko. So what do we do?

Wake up.

Levy argues that while the Wetiko is predatory, even malevolent, its presence is absolutely vital for humanity’s evolution. Only by facing this nemesis and breaking through to wholeness can we overcome our spiritual limitations and find transcendence.

Levy also discusses his life, his calling as a healer, and how an early family trauma led to an explosive and shattering spiritual awakening that propelled him into these metaphysical pursuits.

This initiation was deeply unmooring, and led to hospital stays and diagnoses that clearly missed the power and significance of his experience.

All of this led him to become “a wounded healer,” one who uses the empathy gained from traumatic and disordering life experiences to help others navigate their own kinds of crises.

On this episode of Neon Galactic, we interview author Eric Wargo about his theories surrounding time, precognition, retro causality, and the paranormal.

Wargo has written several books, two of which we talk about extensively in this conversation: “Time Loops,” which lays out his theory for how precognition may work, and “From Nowhere,” an elucidation of that theory and an examination of how this innate human skill seems to have manifested itself in the work of several prominent writers and artists throughout history.

Wargo is an outlier as a theorist. His ideas of precognition and retro causality don’t rely on consciousness as a mechanism, and don’t presuppose the imminent demise of reductive materialism, or physicalism, as a force in science.

He maintains that discoveries in physics have opened and will continue to open doors to the possibility that causation can run both forwards and backwards. His ideas, he says, amount to a rebirth of teleology – this time minus an all-powerful deity as motivator.

Citing examples like author Norman Mailer, Wargo in this chat and in his books cites examples of how the work of some artists seems to reflect future, meaningful experiences they will have, events that seem to reverberate backwards through time and draw them forward into manifestation.

What are the implications for free will? Was John Calvin right in a sense about predestination? How would the proving of this theory impact our culture and our understanding of what it means to be human?

Wargo has a PhD in anthropology from Emory University and works as a science writer and editor in Washington, DC. In his spare time, he writes about science fiction, consciousness, and the paranormal at his popular blog, The Nightshirt.

On this episode of Neon Galactic, we interview experiencer, disclosure activist and remote viewer Birdie Jaworski, who in this conversation describes many of her NHI contact experiences and delves into the art and science of remote viewing.

Jaworski, formerly known as Prudence C. Calabrese, had early experiences of contact, but reality truly shifted for her when she was introduced to remote viewing, for which she seemed naturally suited.

That experience and knowledge ultimately led to a series of encounters with a “Gray Dude,” an alien who seemed connected with a series of downloads that continue unfolding even now.

Jaworski became quite successful at remote viewing, and started her own company. This success, however, brought with it the negative attention of some established interests in the field, who proceeded to harass her and her employees. The experience got so awful she eventually had to leave the business and even change her name.

After years of staying away, however, she’s gotten back in the business and picked up where she left off. She’ll soon be teaching at Ubiquity University, and has become a formidable ally of Danny Sheehan and is now a member of the New Paradigm Institute.

She’ll be speaking at the upcoming World Disclosure Day events on October 20, 2024.

Jaworski has founded a UFO research and activism group in Albuquerque, NM — ABQ UFOs — and is a leader in the fight for disclosure.

On this episode of Neon Galactic, we interview Kevin Cann, an experiencer and retired IT professional who was prominently featured in Jeffrey Kripal’s latest book, “How to Think Impossibly.”

He even wrote a section of Chapter 3 to help ensure that Kripal accurately captured his approach.

Cann, who has been diagnosed with autism, describes his lifetime of experiences in this interview and explores how those experiences relate to his autism, his early and severe childhood trauma, and the need to survive and thrive despite those challenges.

He’s developed a philosophy, Platonic Surrealism, that he believes best captures the kind of universe that has to exist in order for him and others to have the types of experiences that have been reported throughout history.

Most visionaries, he believes, were likely somewhere on the spectrum. Those initial visionary experiences were then later co-opted by the neurotypical followers and acolytes of said prophets, who turned their transcendent episodes into a means of regimentation and control.

He explains that Asperger's Syndrome allows him to have continual access to the right hemisphere of his brain, the imaginal and intuitive half of mind, thereby enabling him to encounter and accommodate different modes of reality.

We also discuss his notion of ontological equivalence – how the anomalous visions and experiences of people throughout history were all equally relevant, providing different though equivalent demonstrations of how the universe works.

On this episode, we interview author and historian Peter Levenda, who together with Blink-182 cofounder and UFO-juggernaut Tom DeLonge, both of To The Stars, has written a non-fiction trilogy of books called “Sekret Machines: Gods, Man, and War."

In this interview we discuss the UFO/NHI phenomenon, its source, and the myriad implications and complexities that surround it all.

The heavily anticipated final volume in their series, “War,” was just released. And once again, Levenda and DeLonge provide their readers with a meticulously researched and stunningly thorough examination of how this phenomenon has manifested itself through the lenses of war, conflict, invasion, colonialism, power, and a signature kind of unsettling strangeness.

The book is itself a tapestry of intersecting threads, from the technologies developed by the most brilliant minds of Nazi Germany and where they ended up after World War II, to an astonishing roster of folks in and around the military industrial complex who were themselves experiencers dabbling in dark arts and at times making contact with unknown intelligences that seemed intent on impacting human civilization.

We discuss all this, as well as how humanity — and individual humans — can protect themselves through the application of a spiritual technology: occultism.

We explore how the United States defense establishment views this phenomenon, and what that brain trust believes about surviving remnants of Nazi Germany, and its alignment with otherworldly elements.

We also discuss the advent of AI, and what it means ffor our ongoing contact with NHI, and how the actual field of interaction is human consciousness, and not merely the skies or planet Earth.

Levenda also comments on the notion — put forth by Seth Peribsen and others through their NAC Protocol — that fungi may be the vector of NHI manipulation.

Overall, Levenda here and in his book reveals a presence in our midst, a wizard behind the curtain of history who can enchant us with glittering objects in the sky, with technologies torn from myth and fiction, and with mysteries that make us doubt our ability to understand our own experience.

Our discussion centers on what’s to be done with that information.
