"HO HO HO." PJ and Andy meet to celebrate Hogswatch with gerbils, eggnog, and a fine festive Pratchett, with more mergings of sociology and fantasy. Albert and Death have frank discussions about childhood and income inequality amongst celebrations on fiction and belief, as f-frightening Teatime stalks the disc. "In weather like this right-thinking people were indoors, in front of the fire, telling stories about heroes."

Aged barbarian Cohen plans to kill a troll in single combat. Instead they find themselves reminiscing about how the Discworld used to be. Andy and PJ harvest PTerry's short story for themes and subtext before casting an eye over Snowgum Films' marvellous 2019 adaptation. There's also a contribution from Arsalan Haider Ali, who has never read Discworld.

Thank you!

I am not a university challenge level discworld bore. I have never been to a pratchett fan site or participated in said past times.
Discworld is however a close companion that along with hitchhikers had a dramatic and lasting effect on my brain.
This podcast is almost exactly the conversation I have had repeatedly over the years with any poor unsuspecting person that gets separated from the group in a pub. This exact conversation is why I have never had the complete set of books.
I have listened to many podcasts I like, love or identify with, but never one I have wanted to join in with so much. Thanks chaps.
