  • As a creative and as a person, there are many times that I find myself in a lane that I have no business being in. When I had my first creative business (skincare), I found myself helping people develop their businesses with things like general consulting, website development, brand design, etc. But these people never bought skincare from me and my business wasn’t a consulting business. At shows, I’d be asked to make products like body wash, dry shampoo, and bath bombs, but those products weren’t in my product line at all. How did my decision to accommodate all of these requests help me reach my long-term goals in my skincare business? What about my demeanor made people assume it was alright to ask me to jump from one business lane to the next? The problem wasn’t other people. It was me. I taught my audience how to treat me and my business and today I want to review an affirmation with you about how to make decisions that are in line with your goals.
