  • Summary

  • Do you have a hobby? Or do you have a business? Are you a creative who enjoys selling at markets, craft shows, fairs, and art shows? So am I! My name is Tiffany and I’m an Artist and Creative Business Consultant. As a creative, I started making money with my artwork, crafts, and products by selling at farmer’s markets here in Virginia but what I didn't know was that there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes in order for you to be successful selling your crafts! As a business student, at the time, I decided to implement what I learned in school into my business with a creative twist and it took me from making $50 here and $100 there to 4 figure market days! Now that may not seem like a lot, but if you've ever been to a market or show, especially if you're a beginner, you understand the frustration when it seems like no one is interested in your crafts, and at the end of the day, you spent more money to sit there and smile than actually selling your stuff! Join me every week, to talk about how applying what I've learned in business school allowed me to be a creative and full-time artist. www.Artisan-Preneur.com

Once I found this affirmation, it became part of my mantra. It's a part of my pep talk before each show or market and I continue to remind myself of this affirmation throughout the day so that I don't get sucked into imposter syndrome and begin to lie to myself and believe those lies and believe the doubts that I have.

  • I Make Decisions That Are in Line With My Goals.
    Mar 23 2022

As a creative and as a person, there are many times that I find myself in a lane that I have no business being in. When I had my first creative business (skincare), I found myself helping people develop their businesses with things like general consulting, website development, brand design, etc. But these people never bought skincare from me and my business wasn’t a consulting business. At shows, I’d be asked to make products like body wash, dry shampoo, and bath bombs, but those products weren’t in my product line at all. How did my decision to accommodate all of these requests help me reach my long-term goals in my skincare business? What about my demeanor made people assume it was alright to ask me to jump from one business lane to the next? The problem wasn’t other people. It was me. I taught my audience how to treat me and my business and today I want to review an affirmation with you about how to make decisions that are in line with your goals.
