  • REFLECTING : Evaluating my intentions against the outcome, I’m learning to give myself grace through the uncomfortable seasons
    Aug 15 2024

In this episode, I reflect on the goals we set for the year and how God’s plan has continued to unfold, often changing our direction. I encourage you to embrace the uncomfortable seasons in life because growth awaits on the other side. I also share my experience at the 30th anniversary of the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.

We discuss Rapsody’s album Don’t Cry for Me, which was released as an instant classic. The vibe of the week is a collaboration that blends my roots with my East Coast upbringing: Never Enough featuring Keznamdi and Nicole Bus.

Do you reflect based on a timeline or a goal? We’ll explore the difference between your intentions and your actions. What lessons do you carry forward? Let’s grant ourselves the grace to learn and evolve. Reflection: Are you your own worst enemy?

  • SERVICE: Setting boundaries to elevate through self forgiveness
    Feb 24 2024

To be of service is commonly thought of as manual labor or maybe being used by others. Service is actual a gift not only to others but yourself. The action to be able to serve says
    1. I am qualified through his kingdom. 2. I am also a work in progress, so to serve means to evolve. 3. Superiority is not better than anyone but better than the standards created through drama. Service is an avenue to help us through survival mentally to thriving in our own greatness.

Dr. Asheena Baez gave us a sermon and an assignment. To mediate, take stock in the things we haven't forgone ourselves for and to know you are already qulaified. It's not about where you started but how far we are going together.
