Harvey Brownstone conducts an in-depth Interview with Legendary Singer / Songwriter, Peabo Bryson

    About Harvey's guest:

Today’s guest, Peabo Bryson, is a legendary singer and songwriter who is widely referred to as “the voice of love”.

In a career spanning 5 decades, this man’s rich, soulful voice has brought us 21 albums, 5 of which have been certified gold, in addition to 8 compilation albums. He’s released 57 hit singles including “Reaching for the Sky”, “I’m So Into You”, “Minute by Minute”, “Let the Feeling Flow”, “If Ever You’re In my Arms Again”, “Show & Tell”, “Can You Stop the Rain”, and of course, he’s recorded some of the greatest duets of the past century including “Gimme Some Time” and “What You Won’t Do for Love” with Natalie Cole, “Here We Go” with Minnie Ripperton, “Make the World Stand Still”, “Tonight I Celebrate My Love” and “You’re Lookin’ Like Love to Me” with Roberta Flack, “Lovers After All” with Melissa Manchester, “You Are My Home” with Linda Eder, “By the Time This Night Is Over” with Kenny G, “We Kiss in the Shadows” with Lea Salonga, and of course we all remember the mega-blockbuster classic duets which earned our guest TWO Grammy Awards: “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion, and “A Whole New World” with Regina Belle, and BOTH of those songs won Academy Awards for the Disney animated feature films, “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aladdin”.

This man is so phenomenally successful, that he’s the first artist in music history to have separate songs topping FOUR different Billboard charts: pop, R & B, Classical Crossover and Contemporary Jazz. And if all of that weren’t enough, our guest has also starred onstage in “Raisin”, and he played “The Wizard” in “The Wiz”, and he starred as “Sporting Life” in the Michigan Opera’s 100th Anniversary Production of “Porgy and Bess”.

He’s currently on a North American tour and then headed to Japan, but he’s taken time out of his very busy schedule to speak with me today.
