• Happy Pants - January 18 - Serendipity
    Jan 20 2025

    Everyone needs a little serendipity!

    Seren-what now?

Serendipity is the name for an unplanned, fortunate accident. And that's what this week's episode is all about.

Join Geraldine and Kate and their bright orange happy pants as they find out about bunch of interesting, happy accidents that have happened in history. Like... chocolate chip cookies. How did they come about? And what about Velcro? Playdough? Tune in to find out!

Plus there'll be the usual music (dancing encouraged), an entertaining story... and a few bad jokes.

Q: Why did the crab never share?

    A: Because he's shellfish.

Geraldine and Rebecca will share some stories and silliness with you, as they share tools with one another to build a very fun and potentially risky billy cart! Join them as they take turns racing it down the hill. Oh no Rebecca, look out! We need you back here in one piece for storytime!

  • Happy Pants - December 21 - Christmas
    Dec 23 2024

It's nearly Christmas! This episode is a celebration of all things festive, which in Australia might just include a ute, a kelpie, an esky and a family BBQ...!

Special guest Maddie Malins pops in to the Happy Pants studios to share a heartwarming story she wrote about an Elf on the Shelf, plus there's plenty of music, silliness and festive facts.

From the Happy Pants team and all at Vision Australia Radio, we wish you and your family a safe, happy and very merry Christmas. We look forward to continuing to bring you more episodes and stories each week on the show.

Do you have a furry friend? One with four legs? A waggy tail and a perhaps a drooly mouth? Of course, we're referring to dogs. And if you don't have one, you'll probably want one after listening to this episode (sorry to the adults in your life!).

This week in Geraldine and Kate's happy pants pockets are a frisbee, a stick, some bones, and much more fun doggy items. They'll summon a few new characters along the way, tell you a story, share fun facts, and tech you how to dance the BeeeeeeeOOP Walk with Bluey and Bingo!

Is chicken soup good for your health? ...not if you’re the chicken!

We reckon this week's episode of Happy Pants IS good for your health. It's all about soup. Geraldine and Rebecca bring you funny (in their opinion) jokes, interesting facts, problems to solve and, as usual, plenty of songs and a great story.

The objects in Geraldine and Jo's happy pants this week are all a little... well, a little wrong. The brush is too small. One t-shirt is too long, the other too short. The broom is too big. They're all opposites! And that will be the topic of this week's episode.

You'll hear a story, do some singing and dancing, a little bit of maths and find out the definitions of a few big words. And this week, there'll even be fairy sprinkles!
