The Fresh Inkers conclude the season with the first of a pair of reading by Lui and Des. First up is the gothic short story The Beautiful Dead Man written and read by Lui Campos

The Fresh Inkers, Lui & Des, interview Kayla Min Andrews, the force responsible for bringing the final novel of her mother, Katherine Min, to publication. Kayla tells the Fresh Inkers on how writing has, was, and is an important aspect of her life --- even when she didn't know it. Later Kayla reads the first chapter of her mother Katherine's posthumously published novel The Fetishist

Lui & Des interview civil engineer Courtney Kelly of Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Kelly tells the Fresh Inkers of her journey from her childhood home of New Orleans to Dallas & Southern Methodist University. Also how the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina helped her go from being a potential veterinarian to her current life as a civil engineer and how that tragedy also inspired the birth of an inspiring character named Celeste. All this plus a reading from Courtney's book Celeste Saves the City.

Des & Lui interview Mary Flint author of the Hunter Trial series. The Fresh Inkers get a history of Mary's journey from Anchorage, Alaska to Corpus Christi, Texas and how that along with her musical background helps with her writing

Des reads past guest Caitlyn Bender's short story Love in the Time of Aliens

Lui & Des host Stephen Rea, reader, writer, teacher and the best looking Irishman around New Orleans. Tune in as Stephen discusses finding comradery and soccer in Finn McCool's, a local Irish pub in the City That Cares Forgot. Also Stephen expands on his career as a reporter and a teacher and the three writing tibits that will help a writer go far in the art of creation.

The initial episode of Fresh Ink Theater kicks off with John Biguenet reading his One Story Press published short story: The Third Birdhouse. After which John, Lui, and Des discuss the story and bits on its creation process and inspiration.
