  • I sit down on Skype (while drinking beer from Ghost Hawk Brewing Co, of course) and talk to Donald Carpenter, vocalist of the band Blisskrieg, and formerly of Submersed, Eye Empire, and Apollo Under Fire. We discuss his journey in each band including how they formed, and in the case of his former bands, why they broke up. We also discuss why he has taken a more melodic vocal approach in Blisskrieg than he did in Eye Empire, and whether or not he would still write and sing a heavier vocal.
