  • As Christians, the world and the success of those who are ingrained in the world can sometimes be infuriating, which can produce feelings of jealousy. Social media is at the forefront of our lives, where worldly trends and vocabularies become the next 'quoted' thing. However, we should lean on Jesus Christ and remember Romans 12:2 which says to not 'conform to the pattern of this world.' It's a basic human instinct to fit in, but remember that the path of the flesh leads to destruction, and it's finite compared to the infinite blessings you'd receive when you walk with Christ. When the temptations of the world arises, lean not on your own understanding, and pray for the fullness of faith, surrender your worries to the LORD and ingrain yourselves into the words of the kingdom.
