Crone by Design - A Dash of Everything

By: Miranda Meyer McCarty
  • Summary

  • Crone by Design - A Dash of Everything is a podcast that is centered on furthering the discussion on topics that mainstream media might deem taboo or lacking in education around. I approach the topic with an open mind and research to help people have a better understanding and to bring up these subjects in real-life conversations. Such as menstruation, menopause, miscarriages, witchy topics, and other controversial or not as-talked-about topics. My goal is to provide access for people who are willing to learn more about topics to help create a safer, inclusive, and respectful community.

  • History of Victory Gardens
    Nov 4 2024

This week we are diving into the history of victory gardens. This subject came to me during the middle of COVID-19. I’ve had family and I have kept gardens before COVID-19, and it was interesting to see the burst of new people coming onto the gardening scene. Which had some perplexing similarities to the history of victory gardens in a disconnected way. So we are going back to the time of victory gardens, especially during World War I and II. You might just get the garden bug yourself.
