• Ep. 24 - “YOU’RE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RELAPSE”
    Jun 27 2023

My wife Debbie talks about her side of recovery after I got home from rehab. She immediately started seeing a therapist “Noel Nu” weekly and went to nar anon meetings. After sharing at these meetings she felt a comfort that she was not alone.

In my early recovery my character defects were still strong. She had to navigate around my selfish actions to work on herself and help the children. She said she had to be both parent’s emotionally and physically while giving me space which was not an easy decision for her.

Debbie talks about making a “choice” getting through the good and bad times together as a family and learning about the disease of addiction at the same time.  She said that being in recovery together has brought more compassion, love and trust in our relationship and family.

Thank you babe for always being there for the kids and myself, I LOVE YOU!! BAMN

My recovery brother Jeremy shares his amazing journey through the depths of addiction to sobriety. With over 6 years sober he speaks about starting to use alcohol and weed at the young age of 12 years old.

His addiction grew heavily over the course of 10 years. With multiple relapses and hospital stints nothing was working in his favor to get sober. He shares this amazing God moment which turned his life around and got him down to southern Florida.

Jeremy started Recovery Through Repetition, which is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect those in the recovery community through a shared passion for fitness. BAMN RTR

    Apr 4 2023

My kids Camille & Quinn open up about what their lives were like having a father in active addiction, dealing with me going to rehab, and finally getting into recovery.

We have had many different conversations over the years but none like this! Their raw and emotional account of what their experiences were give a small glimpse into how addiction is truly a family disease. To hear in depth how my addiction affected and changed their lives is humbling.

I’m so proud of the humans that they have become. I am in constant awe of their resilience, compassion and empathy. Some might say I’m ‘lucky’, but I believe it always start with ‘self’. Staying clean another day has given me my family back, and for that I’m eternally grateful. BAMN
