Caleb has an extensive background in the coffee and hospitality industries. Growing up, his family owned a small cafe that he helped manage from the age of 15. Since then, he's dedicated his career to creating opportunities for the next generation in specialty coffee. 

A few years ago, Caleb joined forces with tech entrepreneurs in Germany to launch Green Square - a two-sided B2B marketplace connecting coffee roasters to traders and importers. The platform allows roasters to easily source, purchase, and manage their green coffee inventory from multiple suppliers in one centralised hub. 

In our conversation today, Caleb shares his journey building Green Square, his perspective on challenges facing the coffee supply chain, and his advice for young people looking to make an impact in this industry. We also discuss his leadership philosophy and biggest influences.

Shae Macnamara is the founder and mastermind behind Expat Coffee Roasters, a specialty coffee company with a passion for connecting people through the love of coffee. He is the 2016 Australian Coffee in Good Spirits Champion and has an unwavering dedication to creating exceptional coffee experiences. Expat Roasters are working hard to foster the burgeoning coffee and barista community of Bali by introducing the culture of making a good brew across the island, one cup at a time.

Maxwell Mooney is the founder of Narrative Coffee Co. located in Everett and Bellingham. He is a coffee geek through and through. He has competed and placed well in a number of barista competitions including holding the 3rd place Pacific Northwest Regional Barista Championship title, he's ranked nationally in the last two United States Barista Championships bringing in the 13th highest score at the 2016 USBC, he's placed in the elite eight at the Coffee Fest World Latte Art Championship in Chicago 2015 and Portland 2015 besting two first place title holders in the process. He was invited to serve coffee at the TED conference in Vancouver BC/Whistler BC. He's won over a dozen regional latte art throwdowns. He has been a community organizer for events focused at helping the coffee industry in the greater Seattle area.
