  • Step 4 of Banishing Mom Burnout is stop overmomming and use that time and energy to build your life outside of motherhood. One great way to do this is to read. Read... a lot. Reading is a fantastic way to escape/take a break without going anywhere. You can do it while semi-supervising your kids. You can do it while you wait for your kids at activities. Thanks to one of my favorite things, Audible, you can listen to books while mom taxi-ing all over the place. Reading/listening to books is the best! Reading is also one of the best ways to learn new things and continue to grow as a person, which is so important to prevent burnout!


    Any reading is good, but I personally love reading about self-development (kinda my thing).
