  • Monday Mindset: God's Timing vs My Timeline
    Nov 11 2024

In this episode, join me as I speak to the real-life challenge of letting go of our plans and leaning into God's timing, inspired by Proverbs 19:21 (NLT): “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” Whether it’s about when we want to start a family, how we imagine birth, or the dreams we have for motherhood, we often hold on tight to our timelines. But what happens when life doesn’t go the way we hoped?

  • Welcome to Birthing in Faith
    Apr 27 2023

I'm so glad you're here tuning in for my FIRST ever podcast! Welcome to this space where faith and culture collide. I'm your host, Imani and I'm detailing why I launched this podcast and what you can expect in the future.

The heart behind this is truly to create a space where I saw there was a gap. It was tough to find content specific to the Black Christian experience. Although we are not a monolith, someone needs to start speaking and that's my intent behind this show.

Look out for mostly interview episodes with a few solo shows, highlighting Black Christian mothers and birth professionals sharing their stories. What a beautiful way to fight the Black maternal health crisis in this country - with our voices and our joy!

Go ahead and subscribe to stay up-to-date when episodes drop and share with your family & friends that NEED to hear what we're talking about.

Follow on IG @birthinginfaith and if you know someone that would be an amazing guest, applications can be submitted on www.birthinginfaith.com
