On Monday, an associate of Sean "Diddy" Combs was taken into custody, coinciding with the day Homeland Security agents conducted raids on two residences owned by the founder of Bad Boy Records. Brendan Paul, a former basketball player for Syracuse University, was apprehended by officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. He faces felony charges for the possession of what is believed to be cocaine and marijuana candy, according to an arrest affidavit provided by USA TODAY. The arrest resulted from a collaborative operation involving Miami-Dade, the Department of Homeland Security, and Customs and Border Protection, as stated in the affidavit.

He was granted release on a $2,500 bond this Tuesday, with a court hearing scheduled for April 24. Currently, there is no available attorney information for Paul.

Paul is referred to as Combs' "mule" in a civil lawsuit against the Bad Boy founder and Cuba Gooding Jr. for s assault and harassment.

In an amended lawsuit filed in a New York federal district court by Rodney Jones on Monday, he refers to Paul as Combs' "mule," writing that he allegedly procured, transported and distributed ecstasy, caine, GHB, ketamine, marijuana, mushrooms, and tuci in their carry-on luggage and going through TSA.

The recovery of two individuals who perished in the tragic collapse of Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge has been confirmed, following the bridge's collision with a container ship. It is feared that four additional lives have been lost.

Construction workers engaged in pothole repairs on the bridge were the victims of this calamity. Amidst the chaos, two survivors were pulled from the water, with one receiving urgent care at a trauma center.

The incident escalated when the vessel lost power, leading to an emergency closure of the bridge. The ensuing footage and maritime expert analysis depict a catastrophic event, narrowly avoiding an even graver outcome.

Jennifer Homendy, Chair of the National Transportation Safety Board, announced on NBC News that the voyage recorder data from the ship Dali has been secured.
