In The Land Breakers, Mooney Wright and his wife Imy cross into the Appalachian Mountains to begin a life of their own. As Mooney settles in, another family, the Harrisons, move into his cove with the intention of creating the patriarch's own vision of a utopia. The story follows these two families as they learn to live and work together for survival.
