In this episode, Christine chats with DWC practitioner, M’balia Tagoe, a life-long dancer, having performed in Ghanaian dance, ballet, modern, and jazz as a youngster before turning her focus to ballroom as an adult. She was moved to begin her financial efficiency coaching work as a result of challenges she herself faced trying to navigate the financing of her dear mother’s care due to progressive cognitive decline. The experience highlighted to her how inadequate conventional financial education is and how to better set herself and her family up for financial success during challenging times. Through her journey, she discovered how to be prepared not only for life’s challenges, but for how to capitalize on life’s opportunities. It became her passion to educate and coach others about these powerful financial strategies that are not commonly known. M’balia brings her considerable problem-solving and communication skills from her three decades of experience as an engineering and construction project manager to bear in her coaching work, guiding business owners, individuals, and their families to achieve their financial goals with certainty. She truly believes that everyone can Be A Financial Icon.
