アベノミクスに期待と不安を感じながらも株高・円安で一息ついている日本に対し、逆に不安だらけで日本を見つめている国が韓国だ。

　安倍晋三、朴槿恵政権ともに、発足前後から続く外交的対立が経済面でも生じている。「アベノミクスは失敗する」と韓国メディアや有識者が批判すれば、日本も「韓国経済が危ういから日本を批判している」との舌戦が、半年以上続いている。では、そんなに韓国経済は悪いのか。

　よく見ると、公約として掲げたが故の財閥規制と、経済成長の主役である企業をどう生かすかで苦心する朴政権の姿が見えてくる。円安が急速に進んだため、対応に手間取る韓国企業や国民の胸の内も垣間見える。

　一方で、日本企業の韓国への直接投資がこの数年で急増し、韓国市場は日本企業にとって有望という現実も浮上。韓国がこの半世紀に受け入れた海外投資累計額で日本は２位。それだけ日韓の経済関係は成熟しているのだ。批判ばかりでこの関係を壊してしまうのか。今こそ、冷静に隣国との関係を見つめるときだ。
