About this listen

The heart-wrenching conclusion to the Deadly Divine Duet!

'Sizzling' RAVEN KENNEDY

'Forget morally grey - this is pitch black' NISHA J. TULI

VENGEANCE IS DIVINE.

Even if I could forgive Florian, love is not what I need. I need him to finish what he started and destroy his enemy - my father.

But now that Molkan has been exposed as a monster, something far deadlier creeps across Folkyn. To stop it, Molkan must be overthrown, and the journey provides Florian ample opportunity to sink deeper than my scars.

Our mutual desire for revenge could unite us, but as darkness closes in, vengeance might just be what divides us. I will reclaim my freedom - even if it risks a love more powerful than any crown.

Loved the story and narration

I didn’t expect to cry right at the start of this book. And the end gave us what we needed and from his pov.

A brilliant spicy dark romantasy

Rating 4.25
Spice 4/5
In book two we see a whole new side to Tullia (Flea) as she deals with the trauma of what she experienced at her fathers hands at the end of book one. Florian is determined to be there for her, help her heal and gain her forgiveness for all he has done that contributed to what she’s experienced.
We see Florian experience true guilt and deeper emotions in this book and we come to understand him on a deeper level. We start with less spice at the start of this book as we see a more caring side to their relationship, and she works through everything with the help of some found family relationships.
We get to see a whole new side to Tullia with a very stabby and spicy dungeon/cells scene! Our spice does start back up again, and I actually like it more in this second book but be warned its still VERY spicy lol. We see her start to plan her revenge, gain further understanding and keep her compassion (for those that deserve it). We also see a little role reversal where she has Florian wrapped around her little finger and keep hold of some of the playing cards.
I loved the ending of this book and all in all this duology was a complete surprise to me going from the start of book one and thinking maybe a DNF to a really enjoyable spicy dark read I absolutely recommend!

perfect follow up from nectar of the wicked.

having read the first half of this 2 part I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. bring a busy mum the audio version has been amazing. I pop it on when I'm cleaning, in my car or when the children are in bed and I'm chilling in the bath. obviously not for little ears 🫣🤣🥵 but I thoroughly enjoyed it and perfectly read 😀 👌
