About this listen
Former dance student Sara Hart had aspired to grace the stage on Broadway, but a reckless decision forced her to renounce that dream. Years later, while struggling with an unsatisfying job and an even more unsatisfying love life, she literally stumbles upon a dangerously sexy stranger who sends her heart - and her body - into hyper-drive. His touch makes her feel alive again and sparks a desire to rebuild her dance career. But Sara is still haunted by the demons of her past. One dark lie could cost her everything.
Real estate mogul Tom Wright caters to the rich and famous. He lives the life of the perfect bachelor, partying hard, and dating the most beautiful women in Manhattan. But he has one golden rule - no commitments. Ever. Then he meets sexy Sara Hart, and something about her makes him want to throw the damn rule book out the window. Every time she’s near, the blood in his veins pulses with a raging fire he can’t contain. But Tom’s shadowed history is resurfacing, unearthing ghosts he’d rather remain buried.
Will this wicked dance be their last?

Too Cheesy
This is an old fashioned, instalove at first sight story. It's incredibly cheesy with obvious nods to Cinderella and even elements of Pretty Woman, with the Millionaire boyfriend Tom buying dresses and shoes for Sara to wear on their dates. Within weeks of meeting, the couple are acting like they've been together for years and are already talking about being in love, and cementing their relationship with marriage. Both Sara and Tom have skeletons in their closets which include dodgy past lovers and destructive behaviour which come out to haunt both of them. All the character relationships in this book are complicated and I found them mostly frustrating & unrealistic.
Overall I found this book too cheesy and dated, like it was written in the 80's. I also think the audiobook would have benefitted from the inclusion of a male narrator, because the narrator pretty much had one voice for all the female characters and another for all the males.
I received a copy of this book for free of my own choosing and am voluntarily leaving a review.

good
Excellent. You begin to feel for the main character straight away. The relationships she has are all intense, she seems an all or nothing type of person. There are moving parts in this and i'm intrigued with the ending.

A Sexy Dance!
Wicked Dance is a story of a dancer, who gave up a promising career on Broadway after car accident that killed her mother 4 years before. So when we meet Sara she is as an assistant to the head of the Dance School. Sara hates her boss Rebecca, who is an obnoxious women, who treats Sara shabbily.
Sara believes that she deserves to be unhappy, and keeps her emotions bottled up inside. Then she meets Tom and their connection is instant. What follows is a dance where they both try to understand their feelings for each other. They both have secrets they are hiding from each other.
This audiobook is 11hours long and ends suddenly, so we know there is another one coming.
I have to be honest Sara drove me mad, she seemed very immature, especially with her dealings with Tom. The sex is hot and Tom was swoonworthy and very romantic. It made me fill tired listening to the fast pace of the narrator, and listening from mostly from Sara’s POV .I think just because I was not blown away, we can’t all enjoy the same things. I would probably read something else from Olivia Boothe.
The narrator was very clever with the different voices and accents.
