Summary
Drugged and kidnapped by Vampires, presumed dead by his clan, powerful VampLycan Veso must rely on a creature he dislikes almost as much as the suckheads who nabbed him if he hopes to escape - a human. But when Glenda proves more resourceful than most of her kind, he agrees to see her safely through the Alaskan wilderness. He'll have to fight an overwhelming attraction to the inquisitive beauty every excruciating step of the way.
Glen doesn't know which is worse: learning she's the distant relative of a Vampire who fancies himself a king (um...what?!), or the fact that said relative is trying to force her to birth his queen by mating her with a half Vampire, half Lycan. Veso is scary, has claws, but he's also key to her survival. She just wishes that she didn't notice all his muscles or the way her body responds to his. He has promised to keep her alive but she might lose her heart in the bargain.

Fantastic, finished in 24 hrs
really enjoyed books 3&4 more than books 1&2 in this series, love the characters and they are much more likeable than the females in 1&2, if you love a good mix of action, shifters and vampires, with some romance and family/community stuff, this is for you!

Great series
Loved this story of Vespa and Glen, Glen is a character hand had me giggling at some of her sayings. Excellent story and great narration.

This series….I’m loving it. These characters are building up so well. The storyline is developing and I’m getting more and more hooked. A fantastic performance.

I really enjoyed this story the way that the 2 main characters interacted with each other was very entertaining, you could tell that they just had to be true mates almost from their first meeting but to watch it develope was great fun can't wait to read the next book keep on writing these stories Laurann Dohner

A good quick read, humorous fun and sexy
I really enjoyed this book. It was great on audiable too.
Storyline continues with links from previous characters.
Humorous and sexy! Wish veal was real ha! A light read, and I love the series. I really do like Laurann Dohner's books.

Brilliant series!!
Listened to this back in May & only now writing a review after I finished book 6 in the series. I love this genre so this book was an easy choice to purchase. Great story, has some real funny moments and Savannah really brings the story to life. Couldn't wait to read the next book. I love how the stories reference past & future title characters & each book has a healthy dose of smut too

absolutely amazing
I love these books and the storeys keep me coming back for the next one. I am waiting to see if his dad gets a happy ending with a loving mate too after what vesos mum did.
