Good interesting content

Having had an interest in health matters having studied the human body and completing preliminary nurse training this book was of interest.

First impressions were that the content is definitely interesting but I'm uncertain that the reader is helping in the way it is presented.

It needs some effort to understand and shows a disadvantage of having audio and not text as annotating it or highlighting isn't possible.

Possibly more detail could be included in how to stimulate the vagus nerve at times but when you take the time to understand the content it all makes perfect sense and is very interesting. How to make it easier to understand as you listen isn't clear. It could be the way the reader presents, it could be the content and quite possibly this type of book doesn't work as well on Audible.

I'm happy to recommend but I'd urge listen to a chapter and note as you go through any points where you are uncertain what is being explained, then go back to it and don't move onto the next chapter until you are certain you understand what was said.
