Breaking BPD down
This book is really an all in one for anyone with BPD as well as those who may have someone with BPD in their lives. I really enjoyed that this book did not shy away from digging in deep to really help you understand what BPD is and why so many people don't believe in it. BPD does not mean you are crazy, unlike what some people may think. It is a real disorder that can be treated with or without professional help. The book does an amazing job of giving you actionable tips to start taking action on to be able to address your BPD. From a perspective of a person who has someone with BPD in their life, I found the book to be helpful to me to understand what they may be going through as well as what I may be doing to make it worse. Just like any other disorder, it's our responsibility to become more educated and to help those we love navigate through it. When listening to the chapter for understanding that your job may not be right for you and there are other opportunities that better fit your BPD, I immediately went to my husband to talk about this as I have been saying that he's in the wrong place and that's why he's so unhappy. I highly encourage anyone who either has BPD or loves someone with BPD to read the book to understand the disorder better.

Discover what you DIDN'T know about BPD!
If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, you simply must have this book in your personal library. I didn't realize there were several different types; I was able to get a clearer idea of why my loved one is who he is, how I can help support him, and how he can help himself. Backed with findings from studies, this book discusses behaviors, possible causes, intervention and treatment ( including a few I did not know about!) It also touches on emotional regulation skills, and the effects BPD has on a person's relationships with family, partners, and in the workplace. The book concludes with a section on how to help BPD, both for the individual, and the different support systems that can be created with family and professionals. I especially loved how there was a summary of "takeaways" at the end of each chapter!

This audiobook is well put together and very thorough. The book has information for the person with the disorder as well as the family member close to the person. There are many practical solutions for dealing with the behaviors and ways to overcome some of the challenges a bipolar person has. There's so much information in this book, it's a must listen to if you suspect you know or do know someone with BPD.

Fantastic resource on BPD
If you think you may have BPD or you know someone who has it, then this book is for you. Borderline Personality Disorder, like any condition, can be specially hard not only on the person diagnosed with it but also the loved ones. In this guide, Jennifer Dove walks us through everything we need to know about the condition, the different types of BPD, possible causes, treatment options and much more. What I loved about this book is the author comes from a very realistic yet compassionate place where you know that you will get the information you need to be able to better understand and navigate the situation yourself and with a loved one (if that's the case).

very informative
I have recently entered into a relationship with a very caring and vibrantly energetic BPD woman. This book helped me to understand why she used to behave the way she did and also helped me realise how to relate to her with more empathy. Being in a relationship with a woman with treated BPD is amazing. She is exciting, energetic, affectionate and very intimate. I do my best to validate and honour her emotions as she does with me. Understanding the disorder will only be beneficial to our relationship. This book has been very insightful.
