A Way to Recover

Many of us are suffering in one way or the other. And many try to understand and fix what is wrong, even though it seems at times as if we are not getting anywhere. Nevertheless, there is hope and the author has given me that hope. The book makes me feel as if it is not over, it is going to be okay, and we can all become better regardless of our experiences. So many of us have been abused in various ways, and we can recover. This book is a good guide to help us all recover from abuse and negative experiences overall.

A MUST READ

Anyone who has been part of a relationship with a narcissist or is currently in a relationship with a narcissist needs to read this book now. I think when reading this book, you will identify so many areas in your relationship that you have carried guilt for, and now you realize it’s not your fault……… but the narcissistic person causing these issues. The author gives a step-by-step six-point guide to help you mentally recover from being in this type of abusive relationship. I completely agree with the author in that one of the most difficult things in this type of relationship is actually recognizing the abuse because the narcissistic person makes you feel like this is all perfectly normal.

Healing from NPD abuse

I never thought it would happen to me...until it did. It is challenging enough to leave a relationship within the hold of a narcissist, when we finally do it can feel like we have no strength left for recovery. This listen is wonderful, guiding us gently through the next steps of the healing journey, which is slow and steady process but definitely achievable. Actually, this book provides even more value as chapters 1 through 4 cover important aspects of a narcissistic relationship to help gain some perspective and insight into what is happening. Having initially navigated this recovery journey with the help of a therapist, I found many important reminders in this audio which strengthened my mindset and reinforced the steps I was taking to recover.

Great Book

I got this book as I have a friend who has come out of a relationship whom we figured out was a narcissist and I wanted to know more. One things for sure this book will teach you. Chapter two named  you and the narcissist will spell out the red flags to look for and if you are in the unfortunate situation to already be involved with such a type then this chapter will tell you the behavior patterns to look out for. I feel chapter four links well to chapter two as this again goes more in depth recognizing the abuse that is being carried out by the narcissist.. If you have finally made the decision to leave then there is a chapter on how to leave the relationship so pay close attention here. Its well narrated and goes well with the topic at hand.

An Invaluable Resource

This book is priceless. Full of thoughtful and heartfelt information and a guide to help navigate life after abuse in this way. One of the strengths of this book is its focus on learning more about narcissism and how a person can find freedom from these types of relationships.

The 6 steps are powerful and expansive. Boundaries are a huge part of our own self-worth and self-love process. I appreciate that the author offers relevant examples of abuse and regaining control in a new and beautiful way.

Incredibly informative!

I recently finished listening to The Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Guide and I absolutely loved it! It was incredibly informative and provided invaluable insight into how to recover from the damaging effects of a narcissistic relationship. This book has brought to light the dangers of staying in such a relationship and includes in-depth explanations of each of the types of narcissist. It is an excellent guide for those who like me have suffered from being in a relationship with a narcissist.

The book offers a comprehensive 6-step system to help you survive and thrive after gaslighting, co-dependency, and other unhealthy emotional relationships. The author provides clear and well-structured explanations of the various stages of recovery, as well as practical advice for how to move forward. Interesting read

It’s super hard to see narcissism
In someone you’re in a relationship with. You lose confidence and begin to feel like you’re the one in the wrong, blaming yourself for things.
