Summary
Don't draw your blade in the City of Swords, unless you're willing to kill...or ready to die.
Young and filled with idealistic fervor, Arturo packs his blade and travels to the fabled City of Swords in the hopes of joining the dashing Bravadori. Yet upon arriving, he discovers these masked vigilantes have more in common with brutal thugs than noble monster slayers. Disillusioned and mocked, he stubbornly refuses to give up his dreams.
When an impending bandit attack threatens untold depravities upon a distant village, and no others will heed the call for help, Arturo joins forces with a worthless outcast and a walking legend to attempt the impossible: to traverse the demon-haunted wilderness and prove that in the City of Swords, true heroes can rise from the unlikeliest of places.
Those Brave, Foolish Souls from the City of Swords is a gritty, action-packed stand-alone novel set in Benedict Patrick’s Yarnsworld, a land where folktales and fantasy mix, where the monsters from stories are real.
Includes a bonus novella from the Yarnsworld series and a special note from the author.

A New Type of Story Makes a new place
It's awesome how the author makes the new setting feel so alive by taking inspiration from a different form of storytelling.

can't get enough !
These Yarnsworld stories have already turned into epic reading as far as I am concerned.
A series that's right up there with Harry Potter Lord of the rings etc etc etc.
More audios please Benedict, especially the wonderful voice of my favourite voice actor, Mr Derek Perkins. who brings all the characters to life.
Thank you .

Refreshing
I have listened to all the books.
I love every one off them. If you love the mix of Dark fairy tales, fantasy, and deep lore these are great listens. There is plenty of lore that makes you want to research and talk about this world. The mix of gods and mortals are fascinating to me,
The books are fast paced and keep you guessing. Nothing is predictable. I found myself shocked at events that occurred. This book has is Mexican theme focused and has a 3 amigos vibe. But with the same story telling and lore linked with all the other books

Be has a knack for writing
I love these stories. The author's world is interesting with that thread of familiarity, that trick that Pratchett was so good at. Great performance too, brings the characters to life. Keep 'so coming. Wish i could say more.

Another great Yarnsworld addition
Again Benedict Patrick has unleashed another very memorable group of characters into his expanding world. I do hope to run into Crazy Raccoon again just to see what the bombastic fool is up to. Derek Perkins as usual did a fantastic job. The short story at the end was a nice bonus. Hope the Yarnsworld stories continue, they are a breath of fresh air in a genre suffocating with mediocrity.

Incredible and unique fantasy.
Another fantastic and unique story set in the Yarnsworld universe. A different setting from the first two books, but no less beguiling, this story using Mexican folk lore for its foundation. Wonderfully and beautifully written by one of fantasy’s best kept secrets. A fantastic narration by Derek Perkins.
