About this listen
You’ve seen the headlines about him.
Knox Rivers is music’s out of control, all over TMZ, and under the impression that he’s God’s gift to the female population bad boy.
He steals hearts with his music and then breaks them with his behavior.
And I'm his new assistant stuck traveling across the world with him on tour.
I would’ve never taken the job if I weren't desperate.
I’m the daughter of a rock legend who grew up around men like him.
But with each passing mile, I find myself more drawn to him.
I fight to keep our relationship professional while he pushes to prove there's more to him than you see plastered all over the tabloids.
Desire starts defeating my rationality.
I’m throwing my rules out the window.
I’ll deal with the consequences when the tour bus's gas tank runs dry.

This was such a vibe and a fun ride!
Thorns and Roses is about our mains Knox Rivers and Rose/Libby Graves. Rose – the daughter of a rock star – has fallen on hard times after she loses all her money. And so, she desperately needs a job, and takes on the role as Knox’s new personal assistant. Knox is a famous pop star with a bad reputation in the tabloids and press. Rose is tasked with cleaning up Knox’s image.
What I loved the most about this book was how we got to see Knox and Rose develop a friendship. They got to know each other through many hours of Netflix binges whilst he was on tour. I also loved seeing a different side to Knox from what the Press portrayed him as. Even with their mutual attraction, Rose keeps fighting it as she doesn’t trust his rock star lifestyle, as there are too many beautiful women who throw themselves at him constantly. But can he prove himself trustworthy and be faithful to Rose?
I haven’t read many pop/rock star romances, but I really enjoyed this one. It was fun, and I enjoyed the banter between Knox and Rose.

Knox & Rose
Thorns & Roses is Rose’s and Knox’s love story. Knox is the bad boy of the Pop world, adored and hated by millions; Rose is the daughter of a former Rock star that has fallen on hard times. When Rose is hired to assist and keep Knox in line during his tour they both find it very difficult to not act on their attraction to each other but Knox has a reputation and Rose has trust issues.
This book takes you on a journey into the life of a celebrity behind the cameras/magazines; the life of someone that grew in the world of the rich and famous and quickly lost it to no fault of their own and a world where not everything is as it seems.
Lacy Laurel and Lance Greenfield narrate Rose and Knox superbly.

Forbidden, forced proximity, rockstar romance
This forbidden, forced proximity, rockstar, slowburn, workplace romance was enjoyable. It was fun, there was romance, I liked the storyline, and I liked the characters for the most part. The progression of their relationship and their chemistry was definitely something I really liked. I liked the balance of romance and emotional turmoil as well as how these characters developed.
I’m not very familiar Lacy Laurel and Lance Greenfield as narrators, nevertheless, I enjoyed their narration.
