Summary

She will do anything to protect her sister - even marry a surly cowboy....

From USA Today best-selling author Lacy Williams comes a marriage of convenience story.

About the book:

Alone and on the run, Fran must protect her younger sister at all cost - but she never expected the price would be marriage to a stranger. Her new husband may be a respected rancher in the community, but Fran can't trust him with her secrets.

Trail boss Edgar White never planned for a marriage of convenience - he never planned to marry at all. His past taught him that women can't be trusted, and the secrets she's keeping prove his new wife is no exception.

But as a cattle drive forces them into close proximity, Edgar soon discovers the depths of Fran's devotion to her sister - and that it isn't so easy to keep his heart guarded.

One family will brave the wilderness of Wyoming to fight for their livelihoods...and for love.

The Wyoming Legacy series includes these books:

The Homesteader’s Sweetheart

Roping the Wrangler

Return of the Cowboy Doctor

The Wrangler’s Inconvenient Wife

A Cowboy for Christmas

Fantastic, easy listening with a great story.

Where does The Wrangler's Inconvenient Wife rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book ranks within the top 5 audiobooks that I have listened to this year.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

There were so many great scenes in this book that it is difficult to choose just one. The book is loaded with excitement beginning with a train derailing, cattle stampede, a kidnapping and a shoot-out between the good and bad guys.

There are also lots of romantic moments too as Flan and Edgar get to know each other. They don't always see eye to eye which causes some good scenes of discontent between the pair.

What I love about this book is that it is perfect for all kinds of readers. The story is plot and character driven and the romance is completely clean. I would have no trouble recommending it to my aunt who loves a good story without all the erotic bits. I'm not a huge fan of these scenes either but for some reason I dislike them even more in audiobooks. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series.
