Summary

Hundreds of eyes stare out from the missing persons board - people who have been gone too long and are being forgotten. But what if some of these people wanted to disappear, to hide in the shadows?

This is the question Mila and her team must ask themselves as long-lost people begin to return. Clues are being left for Mila - clues she doesn't fully understand and which her colleagues are strangely dismissive of.

Stunning finish to a strong story..

This would have to be special to be better than The Whisperer, whilst not better its just as good.

the story moves along well with some quite gruesome moments and good character building. The end of this is excellent, no spoilers here though.

it's a great reading, easy to follow and moves at pace..

Excellent overall and highly recommended.

Brilliant

Brilliant, complex and gripping. I am now going to re-listen to the whisperer and this novel to master a few nuances I missed. Gulp.

Better than no 1

Very interesting plot and much easier to follow. I guess the author had learnt by her first book. Narrator still needs to differentiate characters better. We can't "see" who is speaking during a conversation !! Worth a listen.

Good night after the Whisperer

Story continues on for Mela after her involvement with the Whisperer case. Engaging and entertaining thriller. Excellent narration by Saul Reichlin. You can say goodnight to 12hours and enjoy the thriller.
