Beautiful story& narration
I enjoyed getting to know interesting old and new characters, (King Eddie, Queen Alexandra, James), twists in the storyline were AWESOME,especially in the end+ great narrators!!

Fantastic
I read the first four books in this series but as this book hasn’t been published yet, I thought I would listen to this one and I’m so glad I did! I don’t know if it’s a better story than the first four or just really lends itself to an audiobook format but I couldn’t stop listening to this. The voice actors really brought it to life. Can’t wait for the next one!

I love this series but….
Ahnna is an idiot and I hate it when MFC are idiots. From the previous books Ahnna seemed strong, smart and capable. In this book she’s as far from all those things as you could probably be. I will wait for the next book and hope she finally gets some smarts but, I won’t hold my breath. I saw the twists coming and I’m slightly disappointed at this book in my favourite series and I hope it improves before the end of this series.

Another stunning book by Jensen
I utterly adored this book! The pace was perfect and the descriptions enchanting. I was sucked immediately into the story & the performances did wonderful justice to Danielle l Jensens stunning writing
