Summary

Three complete novels in the Sam Reilly action and adventure series!

Rogue Wave

The offer - $20 billion split between four leading scientists on alternative energies to purchase and then squash their research lines, which include the recent discovery of a powerful new energy source capable of replacing mankind’s reliance on fossil fuels.

There’s no doubt their discovery is worth 10 times that much. But will any one of them live if they refuse?

At the same time, the greatest technological advancement in warfare since the creation of the atomic bomb has been discovered and is being offered to the highest bidder.

There is just one problem, though: The seller might no longer have any control of the weapon.

Can Sam Reilly weave his way through the web of industrial and political espionage before the human race loses its greatest fight for survival?

The Cassidy Project

In the middle of the Pacific Ocean in 1962, at the height of the Cold War, the US military experimented with electromagnetic pulses created by detonating high-atmosphere nuclear bombs. The project was code-named Starfish Prime. The primary objective was to develop the ability to produce an EMP with enough force to knock out an entire nation’s communications, rendering a retaliatory attack impossible.

The secondary objective, along with its consequences, was deemed too important to national security to ever be released.

In 1983 an American B-52 nuclear bomber goes missing somewhere near the Bering Strait while delivering a secret cargo at the express order of President Ronald Reagan to an unmapped island. Present day, in the Weddell Sea off the coast of Antarctica, a woman wakes up on a cruise ship to discover she’s the only person left aboard, despite no apparent fault with the ship.

Sam Reilly, already on a rescue mission to Antarctica to save five French scientists, may be the only person standing in the way of the completion of The Cassidy Project.

What a great adventure story.

This was a great collection of stories. they had just the right balance of fact based storytelling and unbelievable chance and luck.
As with other stories in this series it was very interesting as well as being entertaining.
The narrator was very easy to listen to and was very skilled and use of voices and characters where is easy to recognise.

Amazing characters and incredible action/mystery!

This really is a must read.
I've got lots of books that I like and Sam Reilly but these really do stand out. The narration brings them to life and I just really love these books. I will not give spoilers as that would be wrong and I enjoyed them enough that everyone else should to!

You really engage with all the characters. You want everything to work out for the right ones and enjoy the bad guys getting what they deserve. A perfect mixture of action and adventure with a sense of pace that keeps you hooked from start to finish. You really do want to jump in and stay until the end!

The writing style is just so amazingly engaging that it has you transfixed. I should also say that for me the narration just added and maybe even amplified this as it's just a great listen with depth to the characters and a story (or stories I should say for this collection) that just runs. Very good! Very enjoyable! Thank you!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

passes the time

was given this set free by author

same problems as the first, all millionaire highly trained men who have beautiful highly intelligent women falling over them and

struggled with this set, premise was interesting but execution not great. just alright and if you're just passing the time its ok but its far from gripping

the narrator is good as he is reading along but when it comes to character dialogue he makes the characters hard to listen too (Sam Reilly comes off as a condescending dick at times) and the female voices are just poor,
don't think ill continue doesn't seem worth it
