Summary
Baylee Morgan is at a crossroads of her life. Leaving her marriage of ten years and the only life she's ever known, she starts over in a penthouse ocean-front condo in Santa Monica, California. She soon finds herself immersed, albeit reluctantly, in the daunting and perilous world of dating as an almost thirty-something in Los Angeles, unsure of how to act, what to do, or whether that hot guy she meets in yoga class is straight.
Sebby Powers' dream has always been to work in the film industry. At the age of thirty-five, he's one of the youngest up-and-coming producers in Hollywood. His life is perfect. Perfect apartment. Perfect girlfriend. Perfect dog. Until a friendship with a beautiful woman with vibrant red hair and a similar taste in cheesy movies throws his perfect life into a tailspin.

Funny and sweet!
What do you do when you find your husband sleeping with your best friend? You move to LA!!! Baylee, after 10 years of marriage to man she doesn't really love has left what she knows to go in search of the life she wants. Taking her dog Sport, she bumps into a good looking man with his dog, and there is instant attraction. Little does she know this man is her neighbor, Sebastian, better known as Sebby. And they set off to find a nothing but friends relationship. But can men and women be just friends? I fell in love with this book. It's full of humor, at themselves at each other and just in general. I smiled, at times angry and frustrated and even a little sad. But what this book brought to me was that there is always a second chance, and sometimes you have to make it. These two while having a great friendship were tripping over each other...finding that change in their relationship and not wanting to cross the line. It's such a great story, wonderful characters and a fun escape.
Natalie Duke narrates this book to perfection. She has wonderful comedic timing and really enjoyed her voice. She has a great array of voices, and flowed easily from one to the other. I loved her performance.

The Other Side of Someday
After a bad marriage getting back in the dating game can be hard. This is so true for Baylee and in this book we get to see how she does. Moving to a new city she finds the best friends she has ever had and with a few blunders the perfect man for her. This book was great to listen to.

Funny and heart warming
I really enjoyed this book, it was all kinds of funny and gave me lots of laughs. The relationship between Bailey and Sebby was so wonderful as they bumped into one another that first day and became fantastic friends. It’s such a heart warming story for a friends to lovers book where Bailey try’s to date other men with humorous dates when all she wants is Sebastian. I even loved her new family of friends she finds in California and I absolutely loved that she takes over her Mother’s bucket list with Sebby’s help.
It was my first time hearing Natalie Duke and she did an awesome job at all the characters in the book and makes it a really enjoyable time to listen to this audiobook.
